Aldershot Town Football Club Centre of Excellence & Elite Centre
Aldershot Town FC Elite Centre believe that we will get the best out of our players if they have the right environment in which to learn and this includes how parents, carers and other supporters behave during match days.
Respect is The FA’s programme to address unacceptable behaviour in football – on and off the pitch.
On average, thousands of referees quit football every year at because of the abuse they receive from players and from the sidelines. Lots of children also pack it in because of the attitude and actions of over-enthusiastic and pushy parents.
The coaches at Aldershot Town FC Elite Centre attend the FA Safeguarding Children workshop which covers all aspects of child protection. We would like to encourage everyone associated with the club to complete the Respect Parent Guide which highlights examples of poor behaviour and, more importantly, how it can be improved.
This is a free course and takes less the 30 minutes. Please click on the link below and once you have completed the course drop us a note and feedback your thoughts and ideas.

We have an objective at the Aldershot Town FC Elite Centre whereby we want ALL of the people who come to our youth fixtures - parents, carers, grandparents, friends etc, to enjoy themselves as well as the game.
To help us complete this task, we ask that everyone completes the Respect Guide online training which can be found here.
Once you have done the training, please email the Club Welfare Officer
