With its promotion to the Football league two seasons ago Aldershot Town Football Club has had to evolve as a professional club.

Next Season the club will operation a Centre of Excellence (COE) which will bring better facilities and better coaches to develop potential Aldershot Town First Team players of the future. At the next layer down the Aldershot Town FC Elite Centre been formed with the clear objective to produce players for the Centre of Excellence and ultimately to play for the First Team.

Based on this guideline and a clear development coaching ethos, it is then the responsibility of the Elite Centre to nurture and maximize the potential of talented young footballers to be able to play at the higher level of the Centre of Excellence.

These are exciting times and the new organisation gives elite players the chance to play for a professional club at the highest level outside the academy/COE system.
 
Although the Elite Centre gets direction and support from the main club, it is run on a self-funded basis requiring volunteers to assist with all aspects of running the club and coaching the players. This can be a very rewarding way to spend some of your free time and we would encourage you to get involved.
